The
CAREER mission is to empower individuals to move toward and acquire economic
self-sufficiency. CAREER is an
inclusive program of Career
Discovery, Enrichment and Employment Readiness and impacts knowledge through
the foundation of two programs:
- Career
Discovery
- Literacy
Within
CAREER, the time, space and equipment will be provided so individuals can
discover their natural gifts. Through specifically designed curriculums and
within a differentiated instructional framework, individuals will clarify
vocational pursuits and obtain the specific resources and employment strategies to succeed in
realizing their passion in the community.

Our
Program Offers

An opportunity
for individuals to discover and create personalized careers. This process requires the individual to
develop the following:
- Consistency
- Determination
- Clarification
- Motivation
- Decision
making skills
As
each individual makes connection with the non-sheltered working world, the
spotlight is on the variety of jobs available and the goals and strategies
needed to obtain desired employment. Enhanced self awareness and problem solving
also offers students the opportunity to grow and mature as adults who are
economically self-sufficient.
